Breaking the Model of Mental Health: The Future of Therapy with Paul R. Puri, MD
While modern conversations around mental health are expanding, many current approaches still rely on narrow, one-size-fits-all models of healing. In this provocative Spark Salon, psychiatrist and UCLA professor Dr. Paul R. Puri explores the revolutionary work of Milton Erickson, a pioneering figure whose unconventional methods and hypnotic techniques reshaped psychotherapy and sparked the creation of multiple therapeutic schools. Dr. Puri will examine how Erickson's nuanced, individualized approach to the mind offers valuable lessons for a more personalized and transformative understanding of mental well-being today and gives unique insights into what makes us human.
